- AVADHYA is a play written by a famous writter mr. khanolkar. It was initially opened and directed 40years ago by mr. amol palekar.. but being too bold a subject to discuss on stage, was shelfed.. The play was reopened with smita playing the role of kanchan, who is a wanna be actress. An intense play which potrays a war between the inner voice and the outer voice , the good and the bad side, the heart and the mind of every human being. Smita gets to perform various mixed moods in this play from innocence to vengence.
